Designed to be an art exploration and learning center for kids of all ages, the New Children’s Museum brings a unique presence to downtown San Diego. This 3-level building is constructed of tilt-up concrete with solar panels on its slanted roof segments. Believed to be the greenest public building in San Diego, the museum is naturally ventilated, naturally lighted, and capable of generating its own electricity.
